Far Away Places

Sing to me sweet music
Of far away places
And of new heart songs
Awaiting to find life

I find myself
To be comforted by the night
The blanket it affords me
Erasing the trials of the day

Reaching now for the voice
That beckons to the part of myself
That can no longer be denied

The music behind blank screen
My refuge to continue reaching
For Aspiring's whispers

The promise kept as tension melts
And places far away begins
To find their voice and vision

Sweet music take me to where
Time is my own and whisperings
Can be heard in clarity

Sing me away to where today
Will finally lay to become yesterday
As I enter into my tomorrow

When the words cannot be placed
I know it is again time to reach
Deeply within for the person
Whom I have always been

Written words used as therapy
And placed for not only myself
But also for those who may today
Find themselves to be traveling
The same path as I

Reminding myself in confidence
That I always seem to find my way
Within what will become my tomorrow's

The road perhaps long but the rewards
Of time now traveled another chapter
Written within my journey

Knowing that what is of the now
Is but just a stepping stone
To what will become new visions
Of daydreams upon night scenes

Of my own making the steps that awaits
Just ahead yet to be taken
The journey ever continuing to find my
Way to what is yet to be experienced

Another chapter to now begin
Far away places standing in hope
And promise just before me now
